On 17 March 2016, MMCES Safety & Health Unit, in collaboration with Human Resource & Administration Department organised an Awareness Talk at MMCES HQ Office. The Talk had been focusing on creating awareness and showcasing to staff steps that to be taken when emergency and accident happened at workplace.

This Awareness Talk is also one of the many activities planned by the MMCES’s Safety & Health Committee for this year. This event was held for staff to gain better understanding, educate and inculcate them on the importance of safety and health awareness as well as good practice at the workplace. During the half day event, staff were demonstrated on how the CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is performed. They were also given opportunity to perform CPR on a dummy model. Besides, they also learnt how to provide first aid to victim’s suffering from broken bones and other injuries.

All staff under MMCES & MMCEC (HQ and project offices i.e. Cogen, Langat 2 WTP and Langat Sewerage projects) were invited to this event and a total of 30 staff attended the event. The trainer for this event was En. Mohammad Nor Hakim, dedicatedly brought from Malaysia Civil Defence Department or as known as JPAM.
