Delivering Infrastructure that Moves Nations Forward
MMC Engineering is proud to have successfully delivered the Liquid Jetty Expansion Project at Johor Port as the Project Management Company (PMC), marking a major milestone in Malaysia’s logistics and maritime infrastructure development.
The project was officially launched on 28 July 2025, graced by YBrs. Mr. Mohd Masni Bin Wakiman, District Officer of Johor Bahru and official representative of YAB Menteri Besar Johor, reflects Johor Port’s continued commitment to future-ready infrastructure and enhanced regional connectivity.
This expansion involved the construction of two new jetties, purpose-built to accommodate vessels of up to 120,000 DWT, thereby increasing Johor Port’s liquid cargo handling capacity by an additional 5 million tonnes per annum. These facilities are designed to support the growing Edible Oil and Liquid Bulk sector while improving vessel turnaround time and service efficiency.
We thank Johor Port and all partners involved for the trust placed in MMC Engineering to deliver this critical national infrastructure. Kudos to our team for their dedication, safety, and engineering excellence throughout the project.
Together, we build for the future.
