MMC Engineering successfully hosted a Bowling Tournament with the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) on 12 April 2025, at Wangsa Bowl, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. The tournament was launched with a gimmick ceremony officiated by the Secretary-General of PETRA, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mad Zaidi Bin Mohd Karli. 

This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen collaboration and foster closer ties with key government stakeholders, particularly those involved in the energy and water sectors. This event aligns with our broader objective of reinforcing collaboration with government agencies that play vital roles in the development and implementation of national infrastructure projects. 

The tournament brought together 11 key departments and agencies under PETRA, including:

1. Ministry of PETRA

2. Jabatan Pengaliran dan Saliran (JPS)

3. Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan (JPP)

4. Bahagian Bekalan Air (BBA)

5. Institut Penyelidikan Air Kebangsaan Malaysia (NAHRIM)

6. Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

7. Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN)

8. Pihak Berkuasa Pembangunan Tenaga Lestari (SEDA)

9. Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB)

10. Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PPAB)

11. Indah Water Konsortium (IWK)

• Champion: Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) – 5349 pins

• 1st Runner-Up: Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) – 5239 pins

• 2nd Runner-Up: Jabatan Pengaliran dan Saliran (JPS) – 5228 pins

🎳 Individual Awards

• Best Male Player: Afiq Basri (JPS) – 622 pins

• Best Female Player: Ira Nensi (JPS) – 456 pins

To add to the excitement, 20 lucky draw prizes were also up for grabs—bringing joy to the lucky participants who walked away with attractive gifts. The lucky draw segment was one of the event’s highlights, building anticipation and enthusiasm throughout the day.
