InnoTrans 2024 was a significant milestone for MMC Engineering (MMCE) as we formalized key partnerships for the Penang LRT project:

1. We signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hyundai Rotem Company (HRC) as our Rolling Stock partner. HRC is a leading OEM in the global rail market, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions for our project.

2. We also partnered with MARIC through another MOU, emphasizing localization as a key driver for the Penang LRT, enhancing Malaysia's rail industry expertise and supply chain.

We were honored to host the Penang State entourage, led by YB Zairil, during their visit to HRC’s booth, showcasing our commitment to building international relationships that enhance our transport infrastructure.

Additionally, we welcomed MARIC's CEO for a courtesy visit, where HRC representatives briefed Datuk Yusof on cutting-edge technologies, including the Hydrogen tram and High-Speed trains.

These collaborations herald an exciting future for Penang's public transport, blending international expertise with local innovation.
